tri-logs

Prolog
Why should we know and understand the book of Genesis?

It means knowing why all things exist /creatio ex nihilo/ in this earth. Since God (with his Triune Love) created this world, it follows to what we know as our world at this point.

It means we can learn about 4 big OT-giant's life. Started with Abraham as a father of faith (in which we all are familiar with), then we found out about Isaac, learned about Jacob when he always persists on grasping God's grace (along with his faultiness as well); and finally Joseph, as a good-godly man (remember all the troubles caused him for what he didn’t deserve - moreover how he still stood obey before God). Those are great lessons and blessings for us.

It means we know the origin of 12 tribes of Israelites, which then spreading out through the Old Testament and New Testament.

Dialog
those are just some wrapping up of a ‘thrilled’ introduction messages delivered to us last sunday, it is truly stimulated! how come a book of Genesis was extracted in 30minutes time with such a condensed yet cleared explanation? it is still an awe for me until now !

moving on to the first 2-verses of chapter 49, you will wonder what are really those passages talking about. it was not an easy one ‘peeling’ them out, but after all we got the message afterward.

fiuh.. another great sunday.. can’t wait for next one!

Epilog
for what i heard in past 2 sermons, i felt such a sad feeling knowing that not everyone could listened to it. those are really great preaching messages though. moreover, it was either such a regretful feeling, knowing that certain people -in purpose- refuse to come and hear the preaching for some ridiculous reason (yes.. i emphasize the word ‘ridiculous').
so be it !
